State Council to discuss tomorrow, proposed amendments to the competences of the Standing Committees
The State Council will tomorrow hold its fourth ordinary sitting of the first annual session of the seventh term, chaired by HE.Dr.Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Manthri, State Council Chairman in the presence of the honorable members and the Secretary-General of the Council.
The agenda of the session includes the Chairman’s speech and discuss the views of the standing committees regarding the proposed amendments to their competences; as well as discuss the proposals submitted by the committees for the topics that they intend to study during the current session.
The session will approve a proposal to amend its organizational structure. It will also review several reports, including the General Secretariat report and the final report of the "Council Memory" project.
